⛏️ Gameplay Mechanics
How does mining work in Keep on Mining Worlds?
Move your cursor over rocks to deal damage. Each swing deals damage based on your Mining Speed and pickaxe stats. When a rock's HP reaches zero it drops ore, which is automatically smelted into bars. Bars fund skill tree upgrades. Some rocks also drop gems (shop currency) and rare artifacts.
What are bars used for in Keep on Mining Worlds?
Bars are the primary currency for the skill tree — the 200+ permanent upgrade system. They are also required alongside specific ores to craft higher-tier pickaxes. Bars accumulate across sessions and are never reset.
What are gems used for in Keep on Mining Worlds?
Gems are used to purchase shop items each session (3 Mines, Lava Beer, Ore Magnet etc.) and to upgrade those items within the session. Some pickaxe crafts also require gem stacks. Upgrade Gem Value in the skill tree and equip Moonwound Steel to maximize gem income.
What are Anomalies in Keep on Mining Worlds?
Anomalies are random special events during sessions. Explosion Anomalies deal AoE damage to nearby rocks. A-Beam Anomalies fire a beam converting chunk rocks to full material rocks. Both types can be upgraded in the skill tree to trigger more frequently and with greater effect.
What are Halos in Keep on Mining Worlds?
Halos are floating ring objects that drift across the screen. Absorbing a halo grants +0.25x to your all-multiplier for that session (doubled to +0.5x with Halo Absorption talent card). Up in the Air spawns 50% more halos, making it the prime world for halo stacking.
What is the difference between chunk rocks and full material rocks?
Chunk rocks are multi-node rocks containing several ore clusters — they require more damage to fully destroy but yield more ore. Full material rocks are single-node standard rocks. A-Beam Anomalies and the A-Beam Amplify talent card convert chunk rocks to full material rocks, which interact better with Explosion Anomaly chains.
🌍 Worlds
How do I unlock new worlds in Keep on Mining Worlds?
Spend Talent Points in the World unlock menu. Talent Points are earned by leveling up. Early worlds cost fewer points; late-game worlds like Erupting Volcano require Level 56+ and significant investment. See the All Worlds guide for full unlock requirements.
How do I unlock the Secret World in Keep on Mining Worlds?
Find the Secret World Map artifact — a Legendary-rarity item that spawns randomly inside rocks in any world. There is no level requirement or guaranteed trigger. Max Artifact Spawn Chance in the skill tree, always pick Artifact Magnet talent card, and use the upgraded Rock Scanner shop item to maximize your odds.
What is the best world for farming in Keep on Mining Worlds?
Erupting Volcano is best for bars (Steady Gains hits +5x cap in ~50s) and gems (highest gem density). Up in the Air is best for fast leveling via halo stacking. The Secret World is best for XP and talent card generation (8x XP multiplier).
🏆 Achievements
How many achievements does Keep on Mining Worlds have?
64 Steam achievements. See the full Achievements guide for all unlocks, difficulty ratings and tips.
What is the rarest achievement in Keep on Mining Worlds?
Fully Upgraded (12% of players) — requires purchasing all 200+ skill tree nodes. The second rarest is Artifact Collector (22%) — requires all 8 artifacts.
How do I unlock Fully Upgraded in Keep on Mining Worlds?
Purchase every node in the 200+ skill tree. The final nodes (Artifact Spawn Chance Level 5 at 90,000 bars, and Explosion Anomaly Level 5 at 50,000 bars) are the hardest. Grind the Erupting Volcano with Nightglass pickaxe and Steady Gains talent card for maximum bar generation per hour.
⛏️ Pickaxes & Crafting
What is the Dynamo pickaxe and how do I get it?
The Dynamo is the Tier 2 pickaxe providing a 2.22x ore value multiplier. Craft it using Desert Amber (from The Sahara, World 2) + Iron Bars. It is the most impactful early upgrade in Keep on Mining Worlds and should be your top crafting priority.
What is Rodonate Ore and where do I farm it?
Rodonate Ore is the primary crafting material for Tier 4-6 pickaxes (Moonwound Steel, Nightglass, Rodon Knight). It drops from rocks in Street Corner, Up in the Air and Boom Witch Swamp. Farm it with Lunara pickaxe (AFK) and A-Beam Amplify talent card for maximum yield.
What does the Rodon Knight pickaxe do?
The Rodon Knight (Tier 6) increases your active equip buff slots from 5 to 7. This allows stacking 2 additional passive bonuses simultaneously, enabling the most complex and powerful build combinations in Keep on Mining! - Worlds.
🃏 Talent Cards & Shop
What is the best talent card in Keep on Mining Worlds?
Steady Gains (S-tier) — provides a per-second ore value increase up to +5x per session. Giga Explosion (S-tier in most worlds) — increases AoE explosion radius by 40%. A-Beam Amplify (S-tier in Volcano/Street Corner) — converts chunk rocks to full material on A-Beam hits.
Should I upgrade talent cards or pick new ones?
Always upgrade your S-tier cards first. An upgraded Steady Gains effectively doubles its +5x cap to a significantly higher ceiling. Only pick new cards when all your current S-tier cards are already upgraded.
What should I buy from the shop first every session?
Always buy 3 Mines first (enables auto-mining). Then Gunpowder Shots (if unlocked). Then world-specific items like Lava Beer in the Erupting Volcano. Never buy Rock Scanner in standard sessions — only during dedicated artifact hunts.
