Every world in Keep on Mining! - Worlds explained. Unlock requirements · Environmental effects · Best resources · World-specific strategies

🗺️ World Progression Overview

Keep on Mining! - Worlds features 8 distinct biomes, each introducing a new environmental mechanic that reshapes your strategy. Worlds are unlocked sequentially by spending Talent Points in the World menu — earned every time you level up. The first world (Starting Mine) is available from the beginning; the final unlockable world (Erupting Volcano) requires reaching Level 56+. The Secret World is the lone exception — it requires finding a legendary artifact.

Each world has a distinct resource pool: the ores and gems that drop here are used to craft specific pickaxes and fuel shop upgrades. This means world progression and pickaxe crafting are intimately linked — you cannot craft the Dynamo without The Sahara's Desert Amber, and you cannot craft the Moonwound Steel without Rodonate Ore from mid-to-late game worlds.

The general strategic principle is: unlock new worlds when your current world feels routine, then use the new world's unique mechanic to supercharge whichever talent card build you are running. Each world has one or two S-tier cards that exploit its environmental effect dramatically better than any other combination.
